MIPP would like to bring to your attention the electronic platform of Russian most popular newspapers and journals www.parkreader.ru of the company Park.RU, which has been dealing with media content compilation, processing and analysis on the Russian market since 1995.

Park-Reader is the electronic platform which contains more than 900 newspapers and popular journals of all kinds including such titles as Kommersant’ with all supplements, Vestnik mera i pravitel’stva Moskvy, Vedomosti, Gazprom, Voenno-promyshlennyi kur’er, Nezavisimaia gazeta, Parlametskaia gazeta, Rossiiskaia gazeta, Itogi, RBK daily, Moskovskii komsomolets, Argumenty I Fakty, Literaturnaia gazeta and many others. Institutions or individuals may subscribe to any number of titles for half a year and a year and extend their subscription upon request. Access to the chosen titles is provided at www.parkreader.ru by the login/password. Number of simultaneous users using the same login/password is unlimited.

Metadata Content from University Library Online in EBSCO Discovery Service™

EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) made the announcement about their new partnership with University Library Online in Russia allowing content from University Online Library to be searched within EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS). The agreement will add e-book metadata from the University Online Library collection into the Base Index of EDS.

University Library Online is an internet library, which contains more than 30 000 e-books on Literature, History, Philosophy, Social Sciences, Culture, Arts, and Religion. The database comprises Russian classics, study books, encyclopedias, old and modern books, maps, illustrations, dictionaries and much more.
