New Partners of University Library Online

Since September 2014, Russian platform University Library Online of Direkt-Media company has been expanded with 4 large publishers’ collections of the leading Russian ebook databases. They are “Knorus” and “Prospekt” of the platform Book.ru and “BKHV-Peterburg” and “Piter” of Ibook.ru. Their specializations are study books on law, economics, finance, philosophy, history, social studies, mathematics, physics, computer technologies, medicine plus fiction.

Russian Academic Journals eLIBRARY in Russian Science Citation Index at Web of Science Platform

Intellectual Property & Science, IP &Science of Thomson Reuters concluded cooperation agreement with Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU The aim of the cooperation is to provide access to the materials of Russian Science Citation Index (project of eLIBRARY) at Web of Science™ platform, which is the leading world search platform for natural, social sciences and humanities.

This joint project facilitates the access to information on the prominent scientific researches in the Russian Federation. Russian Science Citation Index (1000 best Russian academic journals) will be available as a new database and will be integrated with indexes of the leading journals at Web of Science platform and with other databases, for instance Data Citation Index and Book Citation Index, enabling scientists to look through and analyze regional publications together with the crucial international academic literature.

Russian Science Citation Index will be integrated in Web of Science the same way as the other national science citation index databases: KCI Korean Journal Database , SciELO Citation Index as of 2014 and Chinese Science Citation Database as of 2008. Russian Science Citation Index will be available for Web of Science users in 2015.
